Your safety is our number one priority. As we return to in-person summits, we are
implementing COVID-19 safe protocols. We have devised these protocols in partnership
with the venue, and consultation with guidance from all relevant authorities. 

Covid-19 Protocols

We look forward to welcoming you to DTx East 2021 and we are committed to making this event as covid safe as possible.

If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 please do not attend DTx East 2021 in person.

We are running a covid safe environment at The State Room, Boston.  

During the event:

  • Attendees will be fully vaccinated or tested negative for Covid-19.

  • The venue will be for the exclusive use of attendees of DTx East 2021.

  • All surfaces will be regularly cleaned.

  • Sufficient space will be provided to enable social distancing.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available.

  • Anyone exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 infection will not be admitted.

  • The wearing of face masks is mandatory in communal areas of the building.

Entry to the event

In order to attend the event, you must provide proof of full vaccination (e.g. CDC Card) and/or a negative covid-19 test result taken within the previous 24 hours.

Covid test centres are available close to the venue in Boston.  For more information please go to   You may be able to receive a free test in your home state, so we would advise you check this before you travel.  

During the event

If you experience any symptoms of a potential Covid-19 infection, we request that you do not attend the event.   (Your in-person ticket automatically provides full access to the online version of DTx East 2021).   You should take a test, and if the result is negative you may rejoin the event.

The wearing of face coverings is now mandatory in Boston.    As the summit is a private event, face coverings in the conference venue are not mandatory.

In and around Boston during the event

The mayor of Boston has now made the indoor  wearing of face coverings compulsory.   (With some exceptions). A number of venues in Boston are now requiring proof of vaccination as a condition of entry.    We recommend that you carry your proof of vaccination with you at all times.   If you do not have proof of vaccination, most venues will still allow you entry if you wear a face covering.   For further information and up to date requirements, we recommend that you contact a venue before you visit.

Attendee options

Holders of in-person tickets can attend the event at any time subject to the covid-19 protocols.

Online ticket holders can upgrade to in-person for a fee.

In-person ticket holders automatically have full access to the online version of DTx East 2021.

If you are unable to attend DTx East 2021 due to Covid-19, please contact us at  We will arrange to refund the difference between an in-person and online ticket once we receive proof of your positive covid test.

These protocols apply to in-person ticket holders, and are based upon the local and national guidelines published on 9th September 2021.   These protocols will only change should there be a change to local or national requirements.
